Special Contest Meeting, next Tuesday

A special meeting will be held next Tues, 18 Sep, 7 PM in the Band Room to finalize format and content of the 6 Oct Contest. We need you there.

All ads and shout-outs for the program must be turned in by next Tues. Full page $125, 1/2 page $75, 1/4 page $50, business card $30 We depend on these ads to pay for the program cost. So far all we have sold are the covers!
You've seen the buttons parents are wearing to band events. If you would like one, send your email address to Jana Attaway (DJAttaway@aol.com)

She will email you with your child's photos to choose the button pic.
Monica is happy to:
1. Look for a hotel that can accomodate those parents riding the chartered bus, which will transport from the dome to hotel morning and evening. Taxi's and walking are optional.
--The hotels listed are closest to the Dome and between the Dome and the Crown Plaza.
--The Crown Plaza is an option as of 9/8 but availability may not hold. This is where the kids are staying. It is a little over 1/2 mile from the Dome.
--I will communicate group options before any final bookings are made.
2. Look for a hotel for individuals not traveling on the bus.
--price shop the cheapest rate.
--book the hotel if desired.
3. Provide information on local hotels for individuals to do their own research and booking.

We have put meeting minutes and copies of these newsletters on our website - www.WestmooreBand.com for easy access.
Star Night is scheduled for Mon 15 Oct in the commons area at the school. Each parent will have the opportunity to show their support for their student by helping us make them a start with photo, decorations, etc, to be placed on the Band Room Wall

We have to make 147 stars and we need everyone's help for this event.
Volunteers are typing up the recipes for the Christmas release of our recipe book. We still need more sweets, appetizers, drinks, salads! Email them to Jeanne Westbrook. fundraising@westmooreband.com
